ABOUT ME
Growing up with a father who was a practicing attorney, I knew I wanted to pursue the legal profession as well. My father paved the way by instilling in me a passion for helping others, and I admired the way he successfully did just that throughout his career while managing his own firm. Knowing that I wanted to have that same autonomy over my work, I pursued a degree in Business Administration from Southeast Missouri State University before going on to obtain my law degree from Washburn University School of Law.
I graduated from law school in 1986 and participated in one of the first law school clinical programs in the country. I began my career by working at a big law firm to learn more about the trade. After 3 years, I started practicing with my dad. Working together was always the plan. For over 30 years, I have been licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois, and have been awarded an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, which is a significant rating accomplishment in my field that I’m proud to have.

MY APPROACH
Since taking over the Doskocil Law Firm from my father, I have dedicated my practice to accessibility and transparency for my clients. l answer every call when I’m not in court or otherwise preoccupied. I have built a reputation for routinely returning calls the same day, usually within minutes. When you call, you talk to me, not a secretary or a paralegal.
